Department of Clinical Nutrition

The study of clinical nutrition is more than just knowledge of technicians working to provide food, treatment, assistance and comfort to patients.

The clinical nutrition profession is based primarily on providing services, care, and activities that contribute to improving the patient’s health, supporting the recovery of psychological and physical health, and caring for people who are unable to take care of themselves.

Therefore, it is often said about clinical nutrition that it is the science and art of dealing with humanity itself and the care and concern for humans in general, body, mind and spirit in their weakest states.

It goes far beyond helping the individual recover in cases of illness, but rather extends to taking care of the surrounding environment, providing health education and guidance in a timely manner, and meeting the requirements and duties of the health service available in the labor market and the country.
